The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities released the proposed Alaska Marine Highway System 2021 summer ferry schedule and is requesting public input and comments through February 7, 2021. Written comments can be submitted by emailing dot.amhs.comments@alaska.gov
To hear additional comments and consider adjustments from public input a teleconference is scheduled on Monday February 8, 2021 at 1:30pm for the Prince William Sound region. Community members and interested individuals can join the teleconference by calling in at 1-515-604-9000, access code 279613.
Scheduled to run from May 1, 2021 until September 30, 2021 the proposal covers daily service to Whittier, Valdez, and Cordova as well as occasional stops in Tatitlek (twice a week, every other week). View the public notice and the proposed schedule patterns here.
