Do you want to see economic development in Prince William Sound? A certain type of economic development, or several types? Having a plan to implement your ideas could be useful, and that’s what a CEDS (Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy) is for – a road map for pursuing that vision.
Every five years, the PWS Economic Development District is required, as part of its federal funding agreement, to develop a five-year plan that states our region’s priorities and strategies for implementing them. This winter, we’re working on our plan for 2026 – 2031.
The PWSEDD is working with community leaders from around the Sound and the University of Alaska’s Center for Economic Development to craft this plan for the next three months. If you would like to be part of this effort, please get in touch!
